Old Dominick Bottled-in-Bond (Batch # 4)

Old Dominick Distillery has done an amazing job crafting their Bottled-in-Bond Batch #4. This limited regional release in March 2023 is a blend of four barrels that showcases their expertise in Tennessee Whiskey. On the label, plenty of detail is provided including its mashbill, heavy char #4 level barrels, barrel entry proof, distillation season, and age.

Nose

This whiskey has a fantastic aroma of charred oak, graham cracker, maple syrup, leather, and seasoned oak.

Palate

The palate is sweet and very balanced with a medium body. It has complex notes of caramel, vanilla custard, tobacco, leather, candied pecan, and it’s all perfectly blended together.

Finish

The finish is both peppery and spicy with notes of caramel, seasoned oak, and a moderate length and intensity.

Overall

Old Dominick’s Bottled-in-Bond Batch #4 is a great whiskey that offers high quality and a nice balance. This is a fantastic early release from Old Dominick and has left me very excited for more of their creations. I’d highly recommend this whiskey to those looking for a standout experience
