Old Dominick Straight Tennessee Whiskey

Nose

Old Dominick Straight Tennessee Whiskey offers a unique nose of apricot, nectarine, orange, lemon, and mellow oak.

Palate

On the palate, this whiskey is surprisingly mellow, with notes of cantaloupe, green grapes, vanilla, and caramel.

Finish

The sip finishes with granola, walnut, light dryness, mellow oak, and a touch of smoke.

Overall

Overall, Old Dominick Straight Tennessee Whiskey is an impressively unique and pleasant sip. It does not suffer from any harsh notes and its 85 proof is perfect for easy sipping. Its fruit-forward nose is unlike anything we have ever seen before. The palate and the finish both have great complexity, though the whiskey could benefit from additional aging to further enhance its middle ground and body. In spite of this, we are happy with the whiskey as-is and are excited to see what else Old Dominick Distillery has in store.

  1. Old Dominick Straight Tennessee Whiskey is a smooth and flavorful sip with a unique nose and complex palate. While it could benefit from additional aging, it is still enjoyable as-is and showcases the quality and craftsmanship of Old Dominick Distillery. Overall, a great addition to any whiskey collection.

  2. I absolutely love the fruit-forward nose of Old Dominick Straight Tennessee Whiskey. It’s unlike any other whiskey I’ve ever tried and adds a delightful twist to the sip. The palate and finish have great complexity, though I do agree that some additional aging could elevate this whiskey even further. Overall, a fantastic sip from Old Dominick Distillery.
