Three Chord Honey Toasted Whiskey (Batch 1) Review

Three Chord Honey Toasted Whiskey (Batch 1) is a unique drinking experience that combines two popular finishing types and their flavor profiles to create something new. On the nose there are aromas of caramel apple, dark honey, rich toasted oak, wildflower, and chestnut. On the palate, its flavors of Honey Smacks cereal, light brown sugar, pecans, light Amaretto, and good balance, and the finish is sweet corn, toasted oak, salted honey fudge, rye spice, and medium dry.

Even though the whiskey is made with MGP whiskey, the addition of the toasted barrel and the honey give it a unique flavor that sets it apart from other whiskeys. The flavor is smooth and balanced and the sweetness is just right. The whiskey sits at a great price of $60 and its definitely worth the money.

Overall, Three Chord Honey Toasted Whiskey (Batch 1) is a great whiskey that combines the popular flavors of toasted oak and honey and has a great depth of flavor without muddling the final product. Highly recommended
