Heaven Hill Distillery announced today the release of the 2023 Parker’s Heritage Collection® Limited Edition Bottling. This unique whiskey will be available exclusively from Heaven Hill’s portfolio of select spirits and will be released in limited quantities, just in time for the holiday season.
The History Behind The Collection
This special bottling is part of the world-renowned Parker’s Heritage Collection®, founded in 2003 by Heaven Hill Distillery in honor of legendary master distiller Parker Beam. As a tribute to Beam’s legacy, each year Heaven Hill releases a limited edition whiskey from their reserve stock that has been carefully crafted and aged for the occasion.
What Makes The 2023 Limited Edition Special?
The 2023 Limited Edition is an especially unique bottling that is created by blending 2-year-old high-rye bourbon with 8-year-old wheat whiskey. This combination of grains contributes to the soft, buttery texture, as well as the light sweetness and furniture notes of this special whiskey. Once finished, the whiskey is carefully casked and shelf-aged for a minimum of 6 months before finally bottling.
The Result Is A Unique, One-of-a-Kind Whiskey
Once the 2023 Parker’s Heritage Collection® Limited Edition Bottling is ready for release, it will only be available for a limited period of time. Each bottle has its own unique serial number printed on the label and included with each purchase is a special certificate of authenticity.
At the release, the whiskey will present notes of ripe stone fruit, faint butteriness, and dark chocolate, as well as a slightly oaky but smooth finish on the palate.
