B.H. James Distillers Opens Its Doors
B.H. James Distillers is the newest addition to the craft-spirits scene in the United States. Founded by Brad Jackson and Jason Yee, B.H. James Distillers is based in Fort Worth, Texas and has hit the ground running with their very first barrel of small-batch whiskey.
First Barrel
At the beginning of April, the B.H. James Distillers’ team proudly filled their first barrel of craft whiskey. The whiskey is made with sourced grains, Texas Hill Country ingredients, and freshly-cut white oak from surrounding areas. This particular whiskey will be aged in new charred white oak barrels.
Future Projects
The owner-distillers believe this is just the start of something special—plans are already in the works for several other experimental, one-time-only, and small-batch whiskey products. B.H. James Distillers is also working on custom-made bourbon projects
New Awards
These projects are already generating some positive buzz in the craft-distilling community. Most recently, B.H. James Distillers was awarded the Distillery of the Year award at the 2020 American Distilling Institute’s Craft Spirits Awards.
