Filmland Spirits Launches Its Initial Collection of Whiskey In The U.S.
Filmland Spirits has unveiled its first collection of whiskeys in the United States. The collection is made up of two distinct expressions: Filmland Rye Whiskey and Filmland Bourbon Whiskey. Filmland Rye Whiskey
Filmland Rye Whiskey is an all-rye whiskey, made with rye and dark-granulated sugars as the only two components. This light, smooth spirit has been aged in a combination of new and used American oak barrels and features taste notes of light spice, sweet honey, and toasty oak.
Filmland Bourbon Whiskey
Filmland Bourbon Whiskey is a blend of corn, wheat, and malted barley as the principal grains and is aged for 18 months in small new American oak barrels. It has a full-bodied mouth feel and is a light golden hue in color. This whiskey has a delicate balance of toasted oak, toasted wheat, and deep, rich caramel, with a long finish and a hint of spice.
The collection of whiskeys was crafted with the expertise of Andrew Shaw, a master distiller and whiskey maker who has spent nearly a decade producing spirits in the United States. Shaw was drawn to create the collection due to his love of the creativity and nostalgia of classic films and television.
