Four Roses Distillery was established in 1888 when Paul Jones Jr. purchased a small distillery in Lawrenceburg, KY. Paul Jones Jr. was a distilling pioneer, inventing the first branded Bourbon in 1888 and creating a new standard of perfection with its distinct blends and unique aging processes. A proud leader in the Bourbon-making industry ever since, Four Roses is the only distillery to use two separate mash bills, combining five proprietary yeast strains and two separate aging processes.
