Old Dominick To Release Small Batch Bourbon Series
Widow Jane Whiskey maker Old Dominick Distillery announced an upcoming small batch bourbon release this week, to be available in select markets later this month. The new series will feature limited-edition high-proof bourbons, crafted with a special blend of seven- to nine-year-old barrels carefully selected to ensure flavor consistency.
Crafted For Quality
Old Dominick takes extra care in producing its new series of small brand bourbons. Each bottle is carefully blended, distilled, and aged in custom white-oak barrels, before being finished with a traditional oak toasting to enhance the whiskey’s complexity.
To further ensure quality, the oak barrels used in the aging process are carefully selected with specific criteria in mind. The new series includes high-proof bourbons aged from seven to nine years.
A Series Of Limited-Edition Bourbon Releases
The new series from Old Dominick includes four distinct limited-edition bourbon releases. The first of the series is the Widow Jane Straight Bourbon, distilled in the state of Tennessee. With it, Old Dominick pays homage to its original namesake, Charles “Old” Dominick, and his eponymous whiskey brand.
The second release from the series is the Old Dominick Classic High-Proof Bourbon, which is distilled in Nashville, Tennessee. This high-proof bourbon is hand-selected for its unique flavor profile.
The third release from the series is the Old Dominick 100-Proof High-Proof Bourbon. This high-proof expression is a full-flavored whiskey crafted with ten-year-old oak barrels that are finished with a traditional oak toasting.
Lastly, the fourth release from the series is the Old Dominick Single-Barrel High-Proof Bourbon, which is specially blended from hand-selected barrels for a complex flavor profile. This bottle is limited to only one thousand bottles, so the release won’t be around for long.
Availability
The new Old Dominick series is expected to arrive in select markets later this month. It will be available in select states across the United States, with additional shipments potentially heading out to international markets.
