Baker’s 13 Year Old Single Barrel Bourbon – A Satisfying Pour!

The Baker’s 13 Year Old Single Barrel Bourbon is a fine showing that will remind you how great single barrels can be. The bourbon’s barrel char and oak notes are prominently featured, while its stone fruit and dark raspberry notes add a layer of complexity. You’ll also find notes of vanilla, toasted mixed nuts, and mature oak, as well as pomegranate molasses. The thick mouthfeel and long finish will leave an impression.

Nose

On the nose, you’ll get barrel char, burnt toast, rich caramel, and dark raspberry.

Palate

On the palate you’ll find vanilla, toasted mixed nuts, mature oak, and pomegranate molasses.

Finish

The finish is barrel char, stone fruit, baking chocolate, roasted coffee bean, slightly dry, a thick mouthfeel, and long.

Overall

All in all, this is a pleasing bourbon with a unique flavor profile. Though it carries a higher premium than the Baker’s Bourbon 7 Year Single Barrel and Knob Creek 12 Year, it remains a satisfying pour
