Frank August Single Barrel Barrel No. 5 – A Knockout score

Nose

Cherry| Concord grape| Nectarine| Olive oil| Herbal| Cinnamon oak| Delicate, but still expressive

Palate

Raspberry| Oak| Dried fig| Roasted chestnuts

Finish

Black cherry| Cranberry| Pepper| Cocoa powder| Very mild dryness| Potent heat & spice

Frank August’s new Single Barrel release is striking for its resemblance to their small batch release. Not because of the taste, but rather the same high-concept minimalist bottle design. But this isn’t small batch. After CEO and Co-Founder Johnathan Crocker selected 10 of his favorite barrels, he enlisted an “collective expertise of some of the industry’s most respected master distillers and master blenders” to select the five winning barrels and single them out for each unique release.

Nose

The delicate yet expressive aroma of cherry, concord grape, nectarine, olive oil, herbal, and cinnamon oak should make a lasting impact.

Palate

There’s an oily mouthfeel with just the right amount of flavor – raspberry, oak, dried fig, and roasted chestnut.

Finish

The finish is complex with black cherry, cranberry, pepper, cocoa powder, and a very mild dryness, with just enough heat and spice.

Overall

An uncommon pairing of flavors turns Frank August Single Barrel Barrel No. 5 into a knockout. It’s delicate and sophisticated, knowing what it is and accomplishing it with precision. Frank August is two for two!

“H2 is a heading tag in HTML”

H2 is a commonly used heading tag in HTML that helps to organize and structure content on a webpage. It is slightly smaller than the H1 tag, making it ideal for subheadings and breaking up sections of text. Its simplicity and versatility make it a valuable tool for web designers and developers.
