Good Fucking Bourbon

Good Fucking Bourbon is sourced from Panther Distillery in Osaskis, Minnesota. With a mashbill of 30% wheat, no rye or malted barley whatsoever, and aged for 4 years, it had the potential to be a decent tasting bourbon. However, upon giving it a try, it falls short of what you’d expect from a product with such a bold name.

Nose

The nose opens with grain complemented by light toffee, straw, green apple and honey. All these aromas lack impact though.

Palate

The flavor profile is corn heavy and youthful, with a caramel and floral focus.

Finish

The finish is short and characterized by lightly sugared pecans and a touch of dark brown sugar.

Uniqueness

Good Fucking Bourbon isn’t particularly unique as it’s not labeled straight and has a lightness both in taste and proof.

Value

This bourbon doesn’t offer the most bang for your buck, as it lacks body and depth of flavor. The target audience for this product appears to be people with less bourbon experience, which adds to the poor value.

Overall

A bourbon with a bold name that doesn’t quite live up to the expectations it creates. This whiskey is easy to drink, but most won’t find it particularly good
