This particular release is full of rich flavors, including brown sugar and caramel sweetness on the nose, bold flavors of brown sugar, toasted oak, and butter on the palate, and a rush of cinnamon spice, dry cinnamon sticks, leather, and aged oak on the finish. The barrel entry proof of 110 and use of 10 virgin American oak staves amplifies the notes of vanilla and sweet spice that are naturally present in the whiskey.
