Maker’s Mark Wood Finishing Series 2023 Limited Release: BEP

Maker’s Mark Wood Finishing Series 2023 Limited Release: BEP is an impressive whiskey from the Maker’s Mark brand that is sure to the please fans of wheated bourbon. This particular release is full of rich flavors, including brown sugar and caramel sweetness on the nose, bold flavors of brown sugar, toasted oak, and butter on the palate, and a rush of cinnamon spice, dry cinnamon sticks, leather, and aged oak on the finish. The barrel entry proof of 110 and use of 10 virgin American oak staves amplifies the notes of vanilla and sweet spice that are naturally present in the whiskey.

The price tag of $70 is impressive considering the quality of the pour and how some limited releases can take a dramatic increase. For Maker’s Mark fans, BEP delivers a sip that is slightly more elevated than the standard Maker’s Mark 46 Cask Strength at a reasonable price, making this an excellent value.

Overall, Maker’s Mark Wood Finishing Series 2023 Limited Release: BEP is a fantastic whiskey for anyone who enjoys wheated bourbons and is sure to please Maker’s Mark fans with its classic Kentucky flavor profile. Highly recommended!
