Chattanooga Whiskey Unveils Fall 2018 Bottled in Bond Series

CHATTANOOGA WHISKEY ANNOUNCES FALL 2018 VINTAGE FOR BOTTLED IN BOND SERIES

Chattanooga Whiskey, an award-winning Tennessee Whiskey brand, has just announced the release of its latest vintage in the Bottled-in-Bond Series. The Fall 2018 vintage was distilled under the care of Chattanooga Whiskey’s Dustin Nimrick, whiskymaker and distillery manager, at the company’s downtown Chattanooga distillery.

America’s First Bottled-in-Bond Whiskey-Makers

Chattanooga Whiskey is proud to be known as America’s first bottled-in-bond whiskey-makers – a craft that the company has been perfecting since being awarded the official Bottled-in-Bond label from the U.S. Department of Treasury in Fall 2018.

Of the release, Nimrick remarked: “Since the release of Chattanooga Whiskey’s first Bonded label two years ago, I’ve been working hard to take our whiskey to new and exciting levels. After months of tasting and monitoring, I’m proud to share this vintage with all of our fans, which have played an integral role in this process.”

No shortcuts in the process

Just like its two predecessors, the Fall 2018 vintage was bottled in bond, meaning that it was produced in strict accordance with guidelines established in the Bottled-in-Bond Act of 1897. This includes standards like the whiskey must be the product of one distillation season, one distiller and one distillery; and be aged for a minimum of four years in a federally bonded and supervised warehouse.

There are no shortcuts in this process – the bottling of this vintage was made with decades of experience, passion, and perfect timing.

Unique flavor characteristics

The Fall 2018 vintage has a bold profile of flavor, with notes of oak, caramel and cinnamon. At 97 proof, this whiskey is true to the Bottled-in-Bond label. The result is an exceptionally smooth yet complex whiskey, with unique flavor characteristics that will please any whiskey connoisseur.

The old-fashioned craftsmanship of Bottled-in-Bond whiskey making, coupled with Chattanooga Whiskey’s unique process and commitment to preserving Tennessee whiskey traditions, make this vintage a one-of-a-kind offering.

A limited, special-edition bottle

Consequently, this vintage is intended to be limited in supply and only available to special customers. The whiskey will be sold in a 750ml hand-numbered, special-edition bottle.

Chattanooga Whiskey is proud to continue its legacy of offering the unique and unsurpassed flavors of their award-winning American spirit.

Availability

The Fall 2018 vintage will be available for purchase in late 2018 at select locations in Tennessee, Kentucky and Virginia
