The Foundation for a Better Tomorrow
In 2007, Master Distiller Joe Beatrice founded Barrell Craft Spirits®. His mission was to produce the best craft spirits in the world, using high-quality ingredients and unique distillation techniques. He also sought to make a difference in the industry by establishing the Barrell Foundation—a platform for giving back to the industry and helping those in need. Through collaboration, creativity, and passion, the team has made an indelible mark on the world of craft spirits.
Barrell Foundation Bourbon
Barrell Foundation Bourbon is the latest example of the company’s commitment to giving back. This is an 8-year bourbon with a mash bill of 74% Corn, 15% Rye, and 11% Malted Barley. The select barrels of American whiskey were aged in a variety of oak barrel types including, French Oak, Sherry, Cognac, and Bourbon barrels.
On the nose its sweet, floral, and full of woody spices, with notes of caramel and toffee. Its flavor is bold and complex, with rich spiced oak, roasted nuts, and sweet fruit notes. The finish is long and smooth, with a hint of clove and dark chocolate.
