Ampal Creative and Chicken Cock Whiskey Launch Limited Edition Bourbon

Ampal Creative and Chicken Cock Whiskey recently announced the launch of a limited edition bourbon. Aptly dubbed ‘Long Road Home’, this special bottling marks the first time the two companies have ever collaborated on a spirit.

The ‘Long Road Home’ bourbon is part of the Ampal Creative “Grandpa Ed” series, which honors the legacy of Edwin “Grandpa” Ampal, a legendary member of the Northern Kentucky moonshine scene. According to the company, this limited edition bourbon is the first of its kind in the series and marks a groundbreaking collaboration between the two industry-leading companies.

Limited Edition Bourbon Aims to Capture the Spirit of Grandpa Ed

The ‘Long Road Home’ bourbon is aged for nine years in new, charred white oak barrels. It is distilled with 97 percent corn, three percent wheat, and finished with a hint of Kentucky rye in order to capture the spirit of Grandpa Ed. It has a deep amber color and a tasting profile that combines the sweet throat of vanilla and caramel with the smoky, woody notes of charred oak and rye spices.

Strict Availability and Tasting Guidelines for Limited Edition Bourbon

The ‘Long Road Home’ bourbon will be available in limited quantities and is currently only available in select regions of Kentucky, Washington, Oregon, and California. Due to the limited nature of the product, Ampal Creative and Chicken Cock Whiskey have set strict availability and tasting guidelines.

The limited edition bourbon can only be purchased from Ampal Creative’s website. In addition, customers are encouraged to drink responsibly and are advised to adhere to the tasting guidelines when enjoying the product. This includes serving the bourbon neat, in a snifter, or with a few drops of water.

The Grandpa Ed Series

The ‘Long Road Home’ bourbon is the first product in the ‘Grandpa Ed’ series. Ampal Creative plans to release additional products in the series, including whiskies, rums, and tequilas. All products will capture the spirit of Grandpa Ed’s legacy of moonshining.

Experience the History, Tradition and Quality of The Long Road Home

The launch of this limited edition bourbon marks a significant milestone in the history of Ampal Creative and Chicken Cock Whiskey. The product pays homage to Grandpa Ed’s legacy while also offering customers a truly unique experience.

With strict availability and tasting guidelines, customers can enjoy the limited edition ‘Long Road Home’ bourbon knowing that they are experiencing the history, tradition and quality offered by Ampal Creative and Chicken Cock Whiskey
