Good Fucking Bourbon

Nose: Grain, light toffee, straw, green apple, and honey make up this mostly light aroma.

Palate:

Corn, toffee, hibiscus, jasmine, youthful, and with a thin body.

Finish:

Lingering light sugared pecans and a touch of dark brown sugar make up the short finish.

Uniqueness:

While the name is a bit of shock value, the bourbon itself lacks uniqueness.

Value:

Unfortunately this bourbon isn’t worth the price tag.

Overall:

Good Fucking Bourbon is an underdeveloped and overly light whiskey that overall, does not live up to the bold name. Its grain-forward aroma, corn heavy palate, and short finish all point to a whiskey that is overly young and lacking in complexity or depth. Ultimately, it falls short of any expectations and is not worth the investment

  1. For bourbon enthusiasts. The shock value of the name may initially attract attention, but the lack of uniqueness and value make it a disappointing choice. There are far better bourbons available at a similar or lower price range.

  2. If you’re looking for a high-quality bourbon experience. The shocking name may grab attention, but the flavor profile leaves much to be desired. It’s best to look elsewhere for a more satisfying drinking experience.
