Green River Distilling Co. is expanding its portfolio of handcrafted spirits with the introduction of its Green River Wheated Bourbon and expanded distribution. The company has been producing high-quality, small-batch spirits since 2010 in Owensboro, Kentucky.
Green River Wheated Bourbon
The Green River Wheated Bourbon will be joining the company’s other spirits, which include Green River Single Barrel whiskey, Green River Bottled in Bond, Green River Special Reserve Rye Whiskey and Green River Rye.
The new wheated bourbon is a blend of corn, malted barley, red winter wheat and rye. The whiskey is aged in charred oak barrels, giving it a rich, smooth finish.
The whiskey is bottled at 92 proof and has a distinct sweet and spicy flavor. The company recommends enjoying it neat or with a splash of water or with a bit of ice.
Expanded Distribution
In addition to Green River Wheated Bourbon, the company has also expanded its distribution. The spirits will now be available in Arkansas, Georgia, Kansas, Missouri, North Carolina, Oklahoma, South Carolina and Texas with more states to be added in the future.
